The Back

While this guitar is influenced from the T-Style greats of the past (which are typically fairly minimal with regard to carving) the Anne puts an emphasis on comfort where it matters; the back! Maybe one of the more important aspects ergonomically speaking, the back is where the guitar meets the player. So the Anne is shaved where needed for comfortable play.

The Head

Some headless guitars have the unfortunate reality that they can't be hung on traditional wall hangers. Not so for this one. Thanks to the hole, the Anne can be hung on most standard wall hangers whilst maintaining very minimal forward weight.

Design

Our Annabelle line is an homage to the classic T-style guitars so many guitarists know and love but with a modern spin. The Anne is the headless sister to that model. It maintains the overall classic feel and shape but we gave it some deep carves that not only give it an iconic look, but also provide ample room to interface with the tuners.

The Void

We here at MP love to play with lines and negative space. We have built several guitars with voids through the body including our well known bass-harp. So when tasked with a need for access around body mounted tuners, of course we leapt at the opportunity to plunge through the entire guitar and leave a void. Its fun seeing the tuners from the reverse side!

Options

Because the Anne is the headless variant, some things are possible that are not with the standard model. One such option is a negative fret extension. While not a base spec option, MP headless guitars can be fitted with an integral capo and negative frets. This system allows for certain strings (typically 1 or 2) to quickly be dropped a whole note without changing finger positioning.
